Besides providing strategic investment leadership to Securian Asset Management, David serves as chief investment officer for Securian Financial and president of Securian Funds Trust, a group of funds offered through variable insurance contracts.

Experience

David has been active in the investment industry since 1984. He joined Securian Asset Management in 2004 and was named executive vice president in 2007, and president and chief executive officer in 2017.
